Our Story

Emmanuel Assan started by moving from village to villag to educate parents the imporantce of enrolling their wards in school.

All this started when he was a victim himself who struggled in his village called Assin Wurakese Camp. Because of this situation, he had to stay home for 5 years after junior high school.

He then enrolled himself into high school by weeding under someones oil palm plantation.

After comleating high school VACDA-GHANA was established to help solve problems faced by rural people such as: school dropout, drinking of stagnant water or streams, poor school buildings, no school in a community, health education and many more.
